From www.CottageGroveSpeedway.com
The Limited Sprint feature was an event that Justin Youngquist will remember for the rest of his life. The teenager from Burlington, Washington led all twenty-five laps to earn his first victory at the Cottage Grove Speedway in his career in his first ever start in a Sprint Car at the facility. He would add the win to his additional four that he received at his home track the Skagit Speedway in Alger, Washington for 2011.
Sept. 18 Race Report — September 18, 2011
Rounding out the 2011 racing season at the Skagit Speedway, Youngquist Motorsports and the Anderson Appliance sponsored number 56 car of Justin Youngquist ended the season strong. Starting on the inside of the third row in the A-Main Scramble race, Youngquist held his ground until the 23 car of Brandon Harkness and the 42 of Derek Roberts made contact heading into turn one. Youngquist skated passed the incident while Harkness kept the car in control and continued the race. 16-year-old Youngquist restarted in the second position, finishing behind Harkness to start on the outside front row of the Feature. In the 20 lap A Main, Youngquist maintained the second position throughout the race and crossed the line in that same spot. After their very strong season, the Youngquist Motorsports team finished third in Owner's Points and Justin Youngquist finished second in Driver's Points. On October 8th, the Burlington, Washington based team will head south to the Cottage Grove Speedway in Cottage Grove, Oregon to compete in Limited Sprint competition. Justin has not been to the 1/4 mile, high banked track since 2009 where he competed in his Mini Sprint. Thus far at the Cottage Grove Speedway, his best finish is second.

August 27 Race Report — August 27, 2011
The Bubba Sudz Car Wash / Anderson Appliance number 56 car of Justin Youngquist won his second consecutive race last Saturday in Skagit Speedway's Sportsman Sprint series A-Main. Beginning the night with what appeared to be handling issues turned out to be the result of a heavy, wet racetrack which plugged the Rocket Chassis' radiator intake in the heat race. Still making the invert by finishing fourth, 'The Beast' began the A-Main from the first row in the second position. Driving hard into turn one and sliding over the dry track surface, Youngquist and Geoff Needham in the 99 ran up the track allowing the 1R driven by Rob Schroder to take a look under the two cars. With Needham up top, Schroder in the low line and Youngquist in the middle, the three raced down the back straightaway into turn three and in the apex of the corner, Justin had a firm grasp on the first position. Through several yellows, Youngquist comfortably led until lap 16 when the 23 car of Brandon Harkness pulled up to the rear bumper of the 56 and looked to the inside of Youngquist coming out of turn two and down the backstretch. Once Justin found a smooth line in the final laps, the deal was sealed and the young 16-year-old won his fourth A-Main of the 2011 season. Don't miss the last race of the season! Skagit Speedway's Season Championships & Fireworks Show is September 17th.

August 20 Race Report — August 20, 2011
After a strong showing the week before, Justin Youngquist picked up his third A-Main victory in the
Sportsman Sprint series at Skagit Speedway on Saturday. Kelsey Carpenter, filling in for an absent
Cory Swatzina, beat Justin off of the line in the heat race to gain the lead. Youngquist fought back
and swapped the lead with Carpenter multiple times until Kelsey found clean air and pulled away to
pick up the heat race win. After the invert dice was rolled, the Blade Chevrolet & RVs / Bubba Sudz
Car Wash #56 of Youngquist lined up in the third postion for the A-Main. After the first lap, Justin
was running in the second position chasing the 3M car piloted by Dave Mead. A lap four restart showed
an opening for Youngquist in turn three as Mead in the 3M bobbled which opened the bottom side of the
racetrack allowing the 56 to squeeze by the 3M of Mead. Justin Youngquist comfortably led the next 15 laps to bring home the win for the Mr. & Mrs. Incredible powered sprint car. Video link will be posted soon!
